Embark on a workshop to two of Scotland’s most iconic landscape photography locations with Eugene Theron & Matthias Conrad. Both the Isle of Skye and Glencoe are truly spectacular – filled with wild scenery, perfect for endless photographic potential.

On Skye we will stay centrally and from here will explore classic locations such as the dramatic landscapes on the Trotternish peninsula, Fairy Pools and Neist Point. At all the places you will have the ability to capture classic scenes, while still receiving instruction and encouragement to create images unique to you.

When we are in Glencoe, we will be staying in a hotel just outside the valley. It is then short drive onto Rannoch Mor where we will explore the lochans and trees before heading deeper into the valley to discover more of the amazing scenery. We will also have the opportunity to visit places such as Castle Stalker or even locations all the way up to Fort William

In both Skye and Glencoe, the light will be good enough all day to create fantastic images. Given the time of year we may also be treated to fabulous Autumn colours. We will be out for sunrise and sunset no matter what the conditions. At this time of year dusk and dawn are at sensible times, yet still with enough time during the day to explore the area and also get some post processing or image reviews in.

We will split our time between Skye & Glencoe: 3 days on the Isle of Skye before transferring to Glencoe for the final 3 days. You will stay in hotels that are an ideal base for exploring all the locations. All rooms are single occupancy and have breakfast included in the price. Complimentary transport will be available throughout the workshop to take you to all the locations.

If you have any questions, we encourage you to reach out to either myself or Matthias. Both these locations are incredible places to make photos and we look forward to welcoming you on the workshop.

Prior to this workshop, we are running a 7 day trip visiting Lewis & Harris in the outer Hebrides, starting from 18 – 24th October 2026. We are offering a 10% discount for anyone who wants to book on onto both workshops. For more details please click the link below:

Education & Experience

For the duration of the workshop you will be under the guidance of two experienced work shop leaders. Eugene and Matthias have differing yet complimentary styles in photography and come with a wealth of knowledge to back that up.

While visiting the incredible locations on this trip, we will work with you to help create images you are proud of. The group is small, with a 1:4 ratio of instructors to photographers, so there will be plenty of time for 1-on-1 help, yet we also want to give you space to explore and create on your own. This is part of our ethos. We don’t want to tell you what to do so you become a clone of our work, but want to give you the tools, both technical and creative, to make images that are unique to you.

So, no matter your level of photography we can provide you with the tuition you need. We cover all topics including basic camera settings, compositional ideas, storytelling and creative thought just to name a few.

Above all, we want you to have an incredible experience, both from a photographic and travel point of view. We believe that by traveling to places such as these we are inspired to make some of our best work. By immersing ourselves in inspiring locations and sharing that with a group of likeminded people, we get the right mindset to create.

We have also teamed up with a number of high-end photography brands to provide gear for you to try out on the workshop. This is an excellent experience to get hands on with incredible gear.
